northern pike wood carving
This is the start of a wonderful carving.
This will be a wood carved replica of a 35 in/ 88 cm long Northern pike.
A pike this size is considered a great speciman size when fishing in THE COLD, CLEAR CANADIAN WATERS OF NORTH WESTERN ONTARIO
It's one of my favourite simple designs. The main body is carved from a piece of white pine 2.25 in x 5.25in x 31in
length.the tail section is added to form a smooth curved section of the tail.
The tail section is 8 in x 2in x 7in wide. This will be glued in position after it's been cut and shaped. I'LL ADD MORE STEPS IN MY NEXT ENTRY.

Congratulations on the blog. I am looking forward to great things. Perhaps a photo of me holding the new world record muskie....carved from wood of course.
