Creating the sign for Country Style

This is my first ever sign for my local coffee and donut shop.
This is a double sided 24 in / 60 com x 48 in/120 cm   plywood sign. Painted with acrylics and sealed with an epoxy clearcoat. Located near Warden and Bertrand streets in central Scarborough (East Toronto)Ontario.

Birkdale Art in the Park

Yes, The Art in the Park went ahead Rain or SHINE! It hardly rained. I drew caricatures of people young and old, including this one of Danielle who was celebrating her birthday. My wife, Diane editor and writer, was a big help. Where would I be without her? Well, I wouldn't be in this photo of my booth, which she took. She even went to get me coffee and donuts after helping me set up.There were over 30 artists that day

Muskie Themed Chair ready for Muskie fishing season

 This is the small carving at the top of the chair back. A 10inch/ 26 cm long muskie complete with tiny teeth.

 The seat of the chair has a painted pattern, like a "muskie" seat cover.

 Back view with Giant Water Splash!

The sides of the chair feature an assortment of fishing lures and a single strand of Water weed which is usually found in areas muskies swim.

Morning Reflection painting

This is a new acrylic painting on canvas. It's titled "Morning Reflection".
I tried to express the morning sun reflecting on the calm waters. I hope the viewer of the painting would want
to enjoy the water on a summer day.Perhaps there is a fishing rod in the central boathouse that would be handy to cast a ripplein the serene scene.
